Started out as an intern, learning the business and helping where available. Over time my responsibilities became two-fold.
In the Promotion department, I was responsible for driving a station vehicle to locations where on-air personalities would be broadcasting on-site. I would set up all the equipment necessary to make this possible, communicate with the board operators at the station to ensure a proper connection was established, decorate the premises with banners, and make sure the on-air personalities had everything they needed. During the broadcast, my duties were troubleshooting problems/issues, talking to fans of the program and other customers of the establishment, and helping the on-air staff with anything they needed. At the conclusion of the broadcast, It was my job to pack up all the equipment, takedown all banners, and cleanup the area that was used. All that remained at this point was to drive the station vehicle back and unload all the equipment used.
