Additional Information: To whom it may concern:
I have recently relocated back to Tallahassee and am seeking an opportunity to utilize a wide range of skills and training within an organization that offers advancement for motivated personnel. I have impeccable skills in customer service, TCP/IP, networking design, hardware install/repair, software install/repair, troubleshooting, adaptive technology and user training. I bring with me an awesome personality and a positive attitude. My customer services skills combined with my communication skills, I believe are my strongest assets.
For the past five years I have been employed by Feather River College located in Quincy, California. During my career there I held the positions of Assistant Computer Technician, Veteran Liaison and Adaptive Technology Technician. My duties consisted of basic computer installation, hardware/software troubleshooting, research and installation of adaptive technology hardware/software, user training and network troubleshooting/repair/ and installation. Over the past three years I taught a computer literacy class for the mentally and physically challenged. I found the class very rewarding and also useful in the practical understanding of many different Adaptive Technology venues.
During the past five years I also owned and operated my own computer repair business with storefront. I found owning my own business also very rewarding but quite time consuming. I am now interested in downsizing and simplifying my life. I would love the opportunity to work for a respected organization. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application.
Sincerely,
Bruce W. Buckley Cell: 530-514-1888
