Objective: To obtain a position within an organization in which I can use my managerial skills as well as my ability to handle all aspects of running a business.
Experience: 2005-2007 Applebee’s, Manager My position with Applebee’s required me to control all aspects of the business as if it were my own store. I was in charge of the monthly budget, working within it to ensure profitability. Handling invoices and dealing with vendors was an everyday responsibility. Other daily duties included providing 100% guest satisfaction, supervising safety practices, and interaction with guests and staff.
2003-2005 Rent-A-Center, Sales Manager, Credit Manager As a sales manager at RAC you are the front man for building the business. You are the one telemarketing for new customers, selling the products in the store and reviewing all other contracts with the customers. As the credit manager you are the muscle. You are directly responsible for making sure all of the accounts are paid for. If the customer does not pay you are the one to re-collect it.
2002-2003 TGI Friday’s, Manager At Friday’s my main responsibility was the bar. As a bar manager first and foremost you have to ensure your bartenders and patrons are acting responsibly. During my time there we implemented daily specials to help boost sales as well as having a bar guest of the week and giving out prizes to the guests. Every night we had a full bar of employees from other restaurants. Daily duties included providing 100% guest satisfaction, supervising food safety practices, and interacting with the guests and staff.
1999-2002 Bob Evans, Manager At Bob Evans first and foremost providing great customer service was the main focus. The environment was very hands on. On an everyday basis I was helping cook with orders, seating the door, cashing out customer, and refilling coffee for the guests. In addition to the food we had a little gift shop area that need to be supervised and maintained. And with all restaurants everyday duties included training and developing employees and ensuring safe food handling practices.

Skills: My greatest qualification is my experience. I have held several management positions for several years in all types of environments from family dining, to sit down breakfast, all the way to retail and collection .This ability to adapt to any e environment and style of people allows me to be successful in anything I pursue in life.
