 Currently working on assignment since November of 2006 in the Technical Publications Department for Briggs & Stratton in Wauwatosa, WI. Software tools used include: Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, Adobe’s Acrobat, Illustrator 10 & CS along with PhotoShop 5.0. Also using Empart Publisher, BAMCS and SAP. This assignment consists of modifying illustrations to reflect the ECN’s (Engineering Change Notices) issued for them. Created universal spreadsheet to compare bill of materials with the parts list for the IPL’s (Illustrated Parts Layouts). The new spreadsheet helps find undocumented changes in the IPL’s and/or missing ECN’s that weren’t applied thus improving the accuracy of the illustrations. Recently began working more extensively with creating IPL’s for the new product models.
 Prior to this assignment I worked with M&I Mortgage Corp. in Cedarburg, WI. I successfully created an interface to QuickBooks Professional to incorporate invoices that were directly billable to the mortgages processed by the company.
 Previous to these assignments I also worked as a Planning Assistant at Charter Steel in Saukville, WI and a Provider Data Analyst at Doral USA in Mequon, WI.

 Used simple EDI methodology to facilitate transfer of data for inventory items along with pricing and stock levels.
 Implemented and beta tested with manufacturer (FaxSys) one of the first ever computer integrated fax systems for the System/36 and AS/400.
 Installed AT&T S/25 phone system voice mail and configured T1 voice circuits.

1987 – 1990 Greyhound Exhibit Group Elk Grove Village, IL

 Managed department consisting of three programmer/analysts, one programmer, two consultants, one manager of training and one computer operator.
 Responsible for successful implementation and design of a switched and leased line communications network utilizing distributed data management and display station pass through.
 Responsible for technical support and assistance for nine remote data centers, plus our own corporate data center.
 Effectively introduced and implemented newer design techniques while converting from RPG/II to ASNA RPG/III on the System/36.
 Authored new estimating and purchasing software. Built in customizing capabilities for the corporate and remote offices to allow maximum versatility for all offices.
 Established standardized OCL that can be run at any office that eliminated the need for customized OCL that was previously in place.
 Traveled to all of Exhibit Group’s locations to train personnel on proper use of the new Estimating and Purchasing software.
 Converted from twin axial cabling to twisted pair in most locations to ease cable management burdens.
 Proposed, planned and configured PS/36 and ODF/36 at all nine locations.
 Involved in bar code applications for employee time keeping by job activity.
 Installed new phones, lines, and equipment on AT&T System 75 phone system.
