Objective:
During my 34 years in the nuclear field, I have attained an expertise in several of the key functional areas of a commercial nuclear power plant as a Senior Reactor Operator, Steam Generator Component Engineer, Contract Outage Manager, ALARA Engineer, and Radiation Protection Technician. Completed the Instant Shift Technical Adviser Program which entailed completing the qualifications for nuclear equipment operator, reactor operator and senior reactor operator in 27 months. As an on-shift STA, I support the work control process including tech spec entries, safety tagging review and approvals, and work order processing.

Steam Generator Component Engineer
Duke Energy in McGuire Nuclear Station
July 1995 to January 2003
Assistant Engineer for three Steam Generator Replacement Projects providing support for the associated pipe restraint, cutting, decon, fit-up and welding activities.
Steam Generator Tube Integrity Program responsibilities that included work scope development, budget preparation, vendor oversight, regulatory and station management interface, and development of tube integrity assessments, regulatory and code reports.
