To Whom It May Concern:
It is a pleasure to write this letter of the highest recommendation for Frank Edginton. He earned it.
Frank came into the Mine Technical group in the fall of 1989 where I was his first supervisor. He needed to learn not only the ins and outs of open pit mining but it was also his first salaried position within the organization. Through diligence, patience and really hard work, he was able to succeed at both indexers. Within a year, he was promoted to a supervisor role for the surveyors and samplers within the department.
He's smart, works hard, thinks, is punctual and dependable. Not only did he have to manage some very difficult workers, he had to develop leadership and technical skills.
Frank was promoted, in the summer of 1994, to the position of Leaching and Water Management Supervisor at the Precipitation Plant. This was our loss and their gain. We were happy for his promotion but of course sorry to lose such a valued team member.
Beyond all his competence, Frank is a delight to work with. His superiors, colleagues and many of his direct reports have become his friends.
Warm regards,

To Whom It May Concern:
I have had the opportunity to have Frank Edginton as a direct supervisor for four years. Under his supervision, I have found Frank to be conscientious with his duties; he would stay late when his workload was heavy. He would also make sure that you had all the tools and information you needed for the job before he left, as his day started and ended before my day would. You could call Frank on the radio for information or help from the field if you could not get something done or get the proper support and if he did not know the answer, he would find someone who did and not just leave you hanging.
Frank was firm but also very fair with all he supervised. He expected everyone to pull his or her weight and he would let the individual know if they were not. He was also very flexible with schedules for Doctor appointments and sickness and vacations and such, if he could help you out he would. I enjoyed the time I worked with Frank Edginton and was very saddened to have a reorganization effect not only a good boss but also a good friend. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Frank again and wish him well in whatever he does. Wherever he lands, some company should consider themselves lucky to have him on their team.
