St. Petersburg Housing Authority St. Petersburg, FL 2003 Director of Planning & Development Served as the Contract Manager for the HOPE IV revitalization program with a budget over $27 million. Implemented a homeownership program in though HOPE VI and CDBG dollars in the amount of $5.5 million dollars to assist over 140 families in homeownership. Fully responsible for administrating the capital fund grant in access of 1.1 million dollars a year to rehabilitate 700 public hosing units. Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority Zanesville, OH 2001-2003 Development Assistant Served as project manger for the 3.5 million dollar construction project to provide 36 units for elderly housing in downtown Zanesville. Experience in writing and funding two tax credit projects for the Greenwood Revitalization Project ($2.27 million budget) and Section 202 Elderly Housing ($3.5 million budget) through HUD and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency. Experience in interpreting zoning laws, legislation, new housing development, and construction management. Research and applied for federal and state grants to help improve and provide services for families on Section 8 and public housing. Executed and implemented a Section 8 Homeownership program to assist over thirty (30) families to achieve homeownership.
City of Zanesville Zanesville, OH 1999-2001 City Planner Administered and planned a budget in the amount of 2.1 million dollars in CDBG funds for housing rehabilitation programs. Administered a budget in access of 1 million dollars in municipal emergency funds to assist over 50 low/moderate income families in the city limits. Planned and administered a budget in access of 500K in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds for housing rehabilitation programs. Created and Planned the Greenwood Revitalization project to rebuild over fifty (50) new homes though tax credits and municipal funding.
