Desktop Installation Services (DIS) Assigned to the Pandemic Preparation Project with the mission of upgrading all Freddie Mac employees assigned with a desktop to a laptop Responsible for OS support for over 300 users over the phone and in person Configure Issue, Deploy, new laptops for all new employees and contractors Imaged laptops and desktops using Altiris Perform backup and restore using Altiris Tracked all tickets using “DART” Configure laptops Participating in inventory control.
Education: YearUp. A one-year, intensive training program that provides six months of technical and professional skills training and six months paid corporate internship. Courses include introduction to computer applications, Computer and Network Support, Business Writing, Time Management, Critical Thinking and conflict resolution. GED Certificate University of the District of Columbia.
