Experience: 07/06-current Human Resources & Community Liaison, Golden Temple of Oregon, Eugene, OR Working on a team in the human resource department for Golden Temple of Oregon, I provide direction, assistance & strategic guidance to management, employees and applicants in the areas of recruitment, selection and staffing options. 11/04-06/06 Administrator, Recruitment, Diversity & Career Services, State of Oregon, Salem As the Administrator for Recruitment, Diversity & Career Services for the Oregon Department of Corrections, I supervised 8-12 recruitment staff, including recruitment specialists, background investigators, and office specialists. I provided direction & strategic guidance to agency management, employees and the public in the areas of recruitment strategies & best practices, and diversity. I traveled statewide to partner with superintendents and other hiring managers for recruitment and diversity agendas. I collaboratively worked with managers and staff to plan for long and short term goals, re-writing or creating policies, and strategic planning. As the Affirmative Action Officer, I also represented the agency at the State of Oregon recruitment manager monthly meetings, Affirmative Action Meetings, and job fairs.
