May 2006 – Present – Advisor Products, VP Creative Director Supervise staff of 20, consisting of Art Directors, Web Designers and Copywriters. Manage and critique workflow of staff to ensure utmost quality and on a timely basis. Meet with staff on a weekly basis to review projects. Act as a mentor to Art Directors and Designers on a variety of projects.
Feb. 2003 – May 2006 – Laffey Associates, VP Creative Director Responsible for all corporate identity material, including creation of advertising campaigns, corporate image pieces, magazine, newspaper and Out-of-Home advertising. Manage and develop corporate website.
Jan. 1985 – Feb. 2003 – Viacom, Vice President Creative Director Supervise department of ten, including artists, copywriters, photographers and support staff. Handle all phases of the creation of commercial artwork, conceptualization, layout, final design and production for a number of advertising and promotional materials. This includes corporate image pieces and other sales collateral material, print and broadcast advertising, speculative artwork, direct-mail and marketing slicks. Responsible for national creative budget.
March 1982 – Jan. 1985 – Avon Products, Inc., Art Director Responsible for conceptualizing and design of sales brochures for Avon’s Mexican and Canadian divisions. Provided support and training in developing brochure project management group in-country visit to Mexican facility.
Nov. 1976 – March 1982 – Foote, Cone & Belding, Art Director Responsible for developing campaigns for Lorillard Golden Lights, Emigrant Savings bank and Arnold Bread. Created entirely new concept of first three-dimensional advertising.
Feb. 1974 – Nov. 1976 – Grey Advertising, Assistant Art Director Studio experience, including the production of mechanical artwork and comps. Promoted to Assistant Art Director to work on Cycle Dog Food, Yuban Coffee and Block Drugs.
