BACKGROUND: I started working as an auto mechanic with an uncle at the age of 13 and was a qualified GM service mechanic by the age of 15. I worked in a garage and service station all during high school. I volunteered for service in the U. S. Army in 1966 and was trained as a helicopter mechanic, crew chief and gunner. I served in South Korea and Europe and received an Honorable Discharge in 1969. Upon returning to the United States I worked as an aviation mechanic, auto mechanic and then went to work for an industrial manufacturing company. I began furthering my education in the maintenance fields in 1971 and have "Never Stopped Learning". I enjoy the challenge and variety involved in maintenance and engineering and hope to continue to develop and perform in these areas to the best of my ability. INTERESTS: Golf, camping, bicycling, fishing, traveling and computers.
