To Whom It May Concern:
This is a letter of reference for Mr. Ilya 1. Ganeyev. I was in Russia (July & August, 1999) to conduct a series of organizational development and strategic planning activities with a major Russian Non Governmental Organization in the field of health care. I used Mr. Ganeyev for translation and interpretative services in confidential interviews, in small group meetings, as well as in conference facilitation roles.
In my role as an international management consultant I have used a variety of translators. In my experience, Mr. Ganeyev is one of the best. He understands management and training issues and processes. He would actively work thorough planned activities before they occurred so that they would have the appropriate impact. He was willing to work long hours, adapt to changing schedule and group needs, and to provide insight on group dynamics. I found him to be discreet, reliable and a joy to work with as a professional who understands content as well as the translation, interpretive process at colloquial and technical language levels.
I would recommend him without reservation. Please contact me if you have any questions about his capabilities rmorgan&bmainc.com

To whom it may concern
Dear Sir/Madam
Re: Reference for:- Mr Ilya GANEYEV
I am happy to provide a job reference for Ilya Ganeyev. I worked with him for two weeks in June of this year, whilst conducting HIV Voluntary Counselling and Testing Workshops and Training of Trainers Workshops in Moscow, on behalf of UNAIDS. He verbally interpreted and translated written Russian into English and English into Russian, between external English-speaking consultants and local Russian speaking seminar participants, NGO staff and government officials.
During our work together, Ilya Ganeyev proved himself to be a very competent translator and interpreter. He was clearly expert in the field of HIV and sexual health, coping easily with technical terms and theory. He worked hard and was proactive in asking us what we wanted and in offering to do work he could foresee we needed doing. He was very good at working on flip charts, laptop computers and overhead transparencies
We would be very happy to work with him again, and look forward to doing so again in October 2000.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries.
Kind regards
Yours sincerely
Dr Oliver Davidson Consultant Clinical Psychologist Senior Lecturer Head of HIV Psychology Services University College London Medical School
