Interior Design position within an architectural firm, well established interiors firm, office furnishings & design dealership or retail business offering design services OR as an assistant to an established designer or architect.
Experience:
Wright Angle Interior Sources, 1985-1994, Mulitiple lines wholesale manufacturer's sales rep for upholstery and drapery textiles, custome carpet and rugs, selling to the Interior Design trade in TN, KY, and MS. Establishing and maintaining accounts with Interior Designers and Architectural Firms to get products specified and sold. Working out of a home based office.
C.A. Gardner & Co, 1982-1985, Interior Design department manager within an Arch/Design/Build/Contracting Firm. Created and developed the Interiors divisison of the firm. Primary clientele were health care related facilities. Responsible for design, writing specifications, and coordinating with sub-contractors on job sites thoughout the southeastern states. Supervisor of two other designers.
McQuiddy Office Designers, 1976-1982, Interior Designer and Salesperson for office furniture and systems. Responsible for establishing and servicing own clientele, writing specs for furniture and desgn needs, purchase ofders, receiving and coordinating delivery and installation of furniture and other design related items such as finish materials and accessories.
