Objective:

• Project Manager for Vehicle Operations office quality metrics, JD Power, Things Gone Wrong, R/1000 and Balanced Single Agenda for Quality.

• Co-Lead in developing process requirements and roll-out of Common Metrics reporting for North American operating committees.

• Proactive data mining for performance metrics and adherence to best practices in communicating monthly status reports to senior Vice Presidents and Group Vice Presidents. Created common metrics reporting format ensuring procedure acceptance.

• Identified user requirements and system performance issues of Stop Ship Database with employees located globally. Database development increased the interface with internal and external suppliers with R & D engineers. • Lead for interoffice teams focused on improving employee satisfaction and morale. Resulting in a 3% year-over-year improvement in employee satisfaction and 4% year-over-year improvement in employee morale.

• Redesigned Control Chart Room layout and facilitated company wide roll out of new design to 26 assembly plants and 11 stamping plants. Layout improved daily production start up meeting flow by presenting key production deliverables in a clear and concise manner enabling a quicker concern identification time period.

• Quality data analysis for Lincoln Mercury vehicles resulting in 4 process improvement projects with an overall cost save of $3 million. The largest improvement project requiring all employees and visitors entering the Body Shop area to have all clothing fasteners (buttons, zippers and belts) and exposed jewelry covered.

Quality Analyst (assigned to Ford Motor Company, Vehicle Operations Quality Office)
• Sheet Metal Quarterback warranty analysis, early identification of quality issues and development of corrective action plans.

• Developed and implemented the Sheet Metal Quarterback Quality database, which enabled quick retrieval of latest warranty and JD Power data for deep dive analysis.

• Lead Quality Quarterback Engineer responsible for Sheet Metal 28% year-over-year improvement projects

• Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) administrator created timekeeping processes and developed budget cadence formalizing the PVT’s Roles & Responsibilities within the Quality Organization.

• Lead Project Manager for the High Mileage Hinge Squeak project. Led investigation and problem solving events which included key-Life testing with hinge suppliers at their test facilities and Product Development Commodity Specialists DOE’s. 97 Things Gone Wrong (TGW) improvements, $2 million per year warranty cost save. New design tested and approved for the 2001 – 2007 product pipeline.
