Experience: Experience May 1988 – March 2007 Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. Santa Clara, CA (formerly Visx, Inc. and Taunton Technologies) Regional Service Manager 2/97-3/2007 Field Service Supervisor 10/95-2/97 Staffed and developed the Southeastern Region from zero to the current fourteen field service engineers covering 9 states and Puerto Rico. Supported third party service organizations in Latin America and the Middle East. Managed the transition from low usage clinical trials service through FDA approval to the current 375 fully utilized systems. Maintained an average of less than six service calls per system per year. Helped standardize formats, policies and procedures for electronic filing of service reports, time sheets and expense reports. Managed Regional activities under budget through three consecutive years of greater than forecast growth, while achieving all set goals.
