I am currently deployed as the Commanding General of the Corps Engineer Brigade in Iraq. Units under my command have responsibility for coalition base construction design and build projects, strategic bridging, power generation, and IED clearing operations on the main supply routes. To date we have programmed, managed and executed construction funding in excess of $350 Million. I currently have about 3,000 engineers under my command and control.
A dynamic executive with leadership skills and a track record for success, my extensive government knowledge and experience over the past 30 years includes Comptroller responsibilities, preparing and delivering Congressional, Diplomatic, and Executive briefings, and serving as a General Officer.
During my business career I have been instrumental in helping companies increase their profits and reduce loss through extensive financial analysis, market research, and organizational goal development, implementation of strategic initiatives, organization restructuring and consultative change management. My corporate and government background provides a solid foundation in the areas of federal budget processes, financial management, accounting, implementation of financial management systems, and the use of complex data bases to review, track and analyze financial transactions.
My unique skill set includes investigating and analyzing technical multifaceted financial and business issues, and communicating complex strategies into understandable terms for management to increase profits and support staff to implement risk mitigation execution.
