I have been in Information Technology exceeding 20 years working as an Applications, Development, and Maintenance Project Leader and Manager conferring closely with the business organizations and business management in analyzing operational issues with software evaluations and recommendations for software solutions.
As the project manager, I was responsible for evaluating vendor supported software solutions, and upon selection, then configuration and implementation. If an in-house solution was the option selected, I managed the development process through its systems development life cycle having modifications made as necessary. The deliverables were new or updated applications, technical reports, user manuals, and newly created internal procedures. If necessary, modifications to policy and procedures for both IT and the business units were completed with the end result being gained efficiency, production benefits, and more secure IT and business unit environments.
