Objective: Opportunity to provide an Air Carrier (121 or 135) with the knowledge and expertise I have achieved in the aviation industry.
Experience: Knowledge and expertise in governmental regulations that air carrier certificate holders must comply with. Demonstration of this knowledge and expertise has been confirmed by my ability to direct, assist and oversee two major carriers through their Formal Application process for 121 Air Carrier Certification; directed and assisted USA Jet Airlines in the regulatory requirements including ATOS and CSET enabling them to obtain their 121 Air Carrier Certificate for Passenger Carrying operations; assisted Murray Air, Inc. in the requirements to obtain a 121 Air Carrier Certificate and previously directed AVOLAR and Automotive Air Charter, Inc./DaimlerChrysler Aviation, Inc. in the regulatory requirements for 135 Air Carrier Operations enabling them to operate continuously without violations or any findings of non-compliance with the regulatory requirements. Ability to work with the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, Canadian Transportation Agency, Civil Aviation Administration and Joint Aviation Authority has enhanced the operational authority of all flight operations departments I have been associated with. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the governmental regulations allowed me to obtain FAA approval/acceptance to hold the positions I have held without the necessity to obtain FAA Certificates/Certification. Additionally, I have been listed as a noted contributor in three editions of the Aviation Management Courseware for Eastern Michigan University’s Business Aviation Management Degree Program.

Additional Information: 22 years experience in aviation management. Currently working as an Aviation Consultant performing the following tasks- Provide assistance and oversight to new entrant air carriers as needed to obtain certification in accordance with the requirements defined in 14 CFR Part 121 and/or 135. Certification assistance and oversight includes, but is not limited to, training prospective air carriers in the FAA/CSET requirements, creating required manuals, reviewing manuals for FAA/CSET approval, preparing air carriers in creating Schedules of Events, PASI, DOT, Environmental Assessment, Formal Application Process, Table Top Exercises with the FAA/CSET and proving flights. Provide assistance and oversight to current air carriers (121 and 135) in regulatory compliance, ATOS and System Safety.
Previously held the position of Director of Regulatory Compliance responsible for the overall compliance of the Flight Operations Department for a major 135 Air Carrier to include 19 aircraft and 140 crewmembers. Experience and expertise was demonstrated by successful completion of extensive audits on the part of the FAA, CAA and DOD.
