Novell SUSE/OES Linux Network Engineer
Build, Configure, and Administrate Novell SUSE 9, and Novell OES Linux servers.
Installation and setup of Novell GroupWise 7 Post Offices, GroupWise Web Access, and all administration of the system.
Installation of Zenworks Desktop Management on Novell OES Linux servers and created Complex User Policies, Workstation Policies, Creation of Snapshot applications, and used Zenworks to create Images of workstations.

Led three technicians to provide hardware service for more than 70 client locations in the NW Arkansas area.
Worked with Senior and Executive client personnel to address issues regarding upcoming renovations, major moves, and new location openings.
Was responsible for making sure all back office equipment was ordered for installation in new branches once the first phase of the inside construction was complete.
Responsible for having PCs, phones, and network/phone lines were ordered. Once they were in, I had to image all the PCs, and printers and install them. I then programmed the new phone switch with extensions, forwarding, and then tested to make sure 911 calling was showing up correctly.
Once the new branch was open, I worked on training users on the phone system, and logging into the network with their user accounts.
Provided full hardware and software support of all office PC equipment including desktop PCs and peripheral devices.
Installation and ongoing support of phone systems, programming extensions, line appearances, and call pickup groups.
Operational responsibility for server backups and restorations as well as hardware support for the tape devices and disk arrays.
Supported Client Access software for connection to the AS400 system.
Query all printers in the AS400 system that were located at the locations I was responsible for. Restarting print jobs, and printers as needed.
Resetting passwords and creating new user requests for the AS400 system.
Worked on the Help Desk for 9 months doing first and second level phone support, remote controlling PCs and fixing as many issues as possible remotely. If unable to fix issues, I then created a work order and forwarded it to the appropriate technician's work order Que.
Was responsible for HP Laser Jet printer repairs. I have certificates from Parts Now! LLC in the repair of HP Laser Jet 4X printers and Laser Jet 5si/8000 series printers.
Created Zenworks group policies that set users backgrounds to the Arvest standard, it also set desktop size, refresh rate, screen saver, and removed user access to the registry, screen saver and display settings.
