Lead Field Service Engineer, PULAU Electronics; Germany (2005 – Dec 2006)
Led a team of technicians performing installation, engineering, maintenance, and repair of mobile, networked simulation systems in support of U. S. Army combined arms training.
• Hired into a 20% manned function; revived inspections and documentation, overcame maintenance backlog, and quickly integrated new employees eliminating calls for assistance
• Developed and managed an accelerated training plan that prepared the technical team for execution of the largest and longest deployment in the mobile program’s history

Manager, Customer Services Division, US Air Force, Germany (2001 – 2005)
Senior technical advisor to the Director, Customer Services Squadron. Managed system engineering and maintenance efforts on computer, network, telephone, radio, audio/visual, and cabling infrastructure in support of the 650-person unit. Planned, coordinated, and directed staffing, training, and utilization of 127 personnel assigned to the multinational unit.
• Stepped into newly created manager position and quickly designed staffing and training plans, developed metrics and reporting guidelines, and authored first unit progress report
• Led war headquarters in 2-year closure project; completed ahead of deadline and under cost

Career Field Manager-European Region, US Air Force, Germany (1997 – 2001)
Served as the senior Communications-Electronics (C-E) Maintenance Manager in Europe. Provided strategic direction, developed policy, and managed career issues for over 1,400
maintenance personnel across Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia. Determined staffing and training priorities and championed issues within the headquarters and at Air Force level. Helped develop Air Force career training paths for all maintenance specialties and worked with stateside technical schools on course content and curriculum development.
• Authored strategic plan for engineering and technical services; long-range plan made strategic vision of “one engineer in every Network Control Center” a reality
• Regional deployment expert; helped develop expeditionary deployment processes and published functional area’s premier deployment policy and procedures handbook

Logistics Support Branch Manager, Satellite Systems Maintenance Branch Manager and Logistics Division Manager, US Air Force, Japan (1991-1997),
Senior technical advisor to the Director of Logistics and maintenance supervisors. Managed the systems engineering and maintenance efforts for the largest Intelligence Agency-hosted operation in the world. Led a 220-person technical staff operating under a $1.7 million Operating & Maintenance (O&M) budget. Managed support functions consisting of Supply, Administration, Quality Control, Project Management, Training, and Customer Support.
• Transformed the Quality Assurance shop into a customer oriented function which inspectors called “the true Quality leader in the division”
• Received outstanding ratings on Staff Assistance Visits, Quality Air Force Appraisals, Wing Managerial Evaluation, and the Unit Self Assessment
• Authored Quarterly Award packages that won 5 times in a row at Base level
