________________________________________ Selected Achievements & Skills_________________________________________________ Orchestrated turnaround of technical consulting firm for insurance industry almost doubling annual revenue from $1 to $2 million. Recruited to serve as Director of Operations for Technical Restoration Services Inc. (1994-1996). I increased operational effectiveness through proper execution of business practices, reduced complaint reporting by 90% - resulting in recurring customer accounts, and reduced employee turnover by 50% - kept expertise and no need for re-training. Reversed a profit decline and built revenues for building product group. I served as Technical & Customer Services Manager for NuTone Inc. (1996 – 2002), working in an entirely new industry that offered unique challenges. I reversed a cost drain for the warranty department responsible for US and Canada’s warranty expenditures through strategic policy research and innovative enforcement and policing initiatives. I added 1.2 Million to the bottom line in year one through less warranty expenditures and that savings has been recurring for 10+ years. As Director of Projects at NuTone Inc. (1992-Present) I added $3.3 million to the bottom line by successfully completing a transition of 74 electronic products from a Japan manufacturer to a new China manufacturer. Total re-engineering all products through to production, resulting in reduced standard costs by as much as 50% for products, which increased profit margins to 70% and operating profits of 35% for all of the product line.
