Experience:
Department Head Tidewater Community College in Naval Station Norfolk (Present employment) • Responsible for the admistrative details and workings within the Workforce Development section of this Community College. • Oversees the daily operations and reports weekly, monthly and annually using various Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. • Supervises 16 instructors in their daily duties which includes but is not limited to maintenance and upkeep of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and shipboard electrical cirriculum. Project Lead United States Navy in Little Creek Amphibious Base December 2002 to March 2004 While Stationed at The Center For Naval Leadership was involved with: • [Project Lead] Wrote "Initiation Season" an eight week training program for newly selected Chief Petty Officers. • [Project Lead] Only enlisted person in the entire US Navy assigned to the creation of Enlisted Professional Military Education. An enlisted program that follows a similar project designed for Unristricted Line Officers. • [Project Lead] Oversees the Navy's CPO and Petty Officer Indoctination programs. Facilitator Instructor US Navy in Little Creek Amphibious Base August 2000 to December 2002 • [Facilitator Instructor] qualified new facilitators in pay grades E-5 through 0-6 in leadership delivery to assume duties throughout the world including Naval Leader Training Units, Officer Candidate School, Senior Enlisted Academy and Supply Officer School. • [Facilitator] Energetically delivered content in Petty Officer Second class, Petty Officer First Class, Chief Petty Officer and Facilitator trainer classrooms. Qualified Master Training Specialist and was selected as Instructor of the year for 2001. Leading Chief US Navy in USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 June 1997 to June 2000 • Responsible for a multitude of shipboard repairs including welding, machining, woodworking, locksmith and sheetmetal through the services of eight production work centers which included on average of 45 Military personel.
