Experience:
Over 7 years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, testing, trouble-shooting, deployment, performance tuning and documentation with over 5 years of data warehousing/ ETL experience using Informatica tools.
Experience in data extraction, transformation and loading using Informatica Power Center 7.1/6.1,6.2/5.1.2 (Source Analyzer, Repository Manager, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer, Mapplet Designer).
Extensively involved in data modeling and dimensional data modeling, design of star schema, snow flake schema. Used ERwin for physical and logical data modeling.
Experienced in RDBMS, writing MS SQL Server and Oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL programs including Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers.
Experience in developing reports using OLAP tools Cognos (Cognos Impromptu administrator, Power play) and Business Objects (Supervisor, Designer, BO Reports).
Experience in UNIX shell scripting to support and automate the ETL process.
Expertise in Data Cleansing, worked extensively using Data Profiler tool to cleanse data.
Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Project management.
