Inventor Resume

Desired Industry: Manufacturing SpiderID: 10138
Desired Job Location: Radford, Virginia Date Posted: 12/3/2006
Type of Position: Full-Time Permanent Availability Date:
Desired Wage:
U.S. Work Authorization: Yes
Job Level: Experienced with over 2 years experience Willing to Travel: Yes, 25-50%
Highest Degree Attained: Willing to Relocate: Yes

Objective:

My goal is to get an opportunity to develop MY inventions and/or my
ideas to upgrade existing items (40+) to date OR develop/upgrade (a
better mouse trap) if challenged by an employer. All my ideas are
potentially patentable and not just some get rich quick scam or a
useless idea that could possibly be patented but would never sell.
The problem so far has been how do I get my foot in the door to show
what I can (or can't) do? The problem with places like Career Builder
is that I can't find a way to get MY ideas to the right people for
evaluation or to show my potential for inventing/developing useful
products. The only job alerts I get are for cad operators, engineers
(to develop, evaluate, etc), new products!!!!! Let me try to make a
long story short. I am the PERSON that has the ORIGINAL idea. I know
any company could find a hundred+ engineers and/or cad operators to
draft MY IDEA down to its most minute detail and explain how it
works. BUT could that same company come up with someone to give them
the ORIGINAL idea for a completely new product or a good upgrade to an
existing item?
