Job Description:
Leading mergers and acquisitions ("M&A") consulting firm, focusing on privately held, small- to middle-sized companies is seeking two deal sourcing interns to participate in an unpaid immersion and mentor based M&A internship program. Interns will learn how the M&A world functions, how various industries and businesses relate to each other, and how private equity groups and corporate buyers find, value, negotiate, and structure
This internship is great for students exploring careers in: Investment Banking,Private Equity,Mergers & Acquisitions,Management Consulting,Marketing,Or anyone interested in starting, running, or purchasing a business.
Job Requirements:
Students from all classes and majors are welcome to apply. Interns will be trained to, and must be willing to do the following:
1) Deal Source: Contact and build relationships with CEO's, private equity groups, and venture capital groups via cold calls, direct mail, etc.
2) Perform industry and market research
3) Perform strategic and financial analysis
4) Develop pitch books and management presentations
4) Develop M&A marketing plans
Qualifications include, but are not limited to ability to complete assignments on time, strong research and analytical skills, ability manage multiple complex tasks, ability work under pressure. Proficiency on excel, power point, and word is required. Candidates must be responsible, dependable, and eager to learn.
