Job Title: Project Manager, Commercial Glazing
Industry: Construction

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for achieving targeted quality, customer satisfaction, and financial results for assigned commercial glass/curtain wall projects. The positions will work closely with internal R&D, accounting, administration, sales, estimating, engineering, drafting, manufacturing and installation. Externally the position will develop strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
# Specific responsibilities: participate in bidding/planning process
# organize won projects into pm information system
# obtain all necessary approvals and check offs for the project including internal, customer and governmental
# establish project schedule
# negotiate and award subcontracts and supplier purchase orders
# process and negotiate all contract change orders and deletions etc.
# monitor and expedite ongoing project progress with general contractor, owner, sub contractor, supplier and manufacturer etc.
# carry responsibility for overall execution of the project on site
# negotiate final contract amounts, holdback release, warranties and guarantees
# ensure deficiencies are promptly corrected
# Continuously upgrade and develop internal, supplier and subcontractor capabilities
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager in the commercial glazing, curtain wall industry.
