Our client is a start-up internet based pharmaceutical drug company with established partnerships in the industry. The company, based in Vancouver is currently seeking a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANGER, who is a successful sales and marketing professional with hands on experience in the online pharmacy business.
Responsibilities
The position will be reporting to the President and will have the following responsibilities:
# Develop new business relationships and generate new income for the online pharmacy from an agreed segment of the US Market.
# Represent the online pharmacy to potential clients (Reseller/Referral/Large Corp) at industry events and tradeshows / Perform client calls or visits as necessary.
# Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; client profiling; solution pitch; negotiation; close.
# Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
# Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following online pharmacy business policies and procedures.
# Effectively interact with the sales and technical teams when rolling out campaigns to ensure proper program implementation
# Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current.
# Periodic business presentation to report developments, results, issues, plans of action and recommendations
# Provide regular written feedback / report to management regarding business information, competition, plans, etc. / Maintain organized records and reports relevant to the position
# Keeping abreast of issues affecting search engine marketing companies, the internet marketing industry and conduct market surveillance as necessary
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
# 3-5 years successful experience in Online Pharmacy business development (sales, marketing, operations)
# Advanced knowledge of the Internet Marketing business and abreast with current business and market trends.
# Excellent communication skills and impressive flair for conducting business presentations
# Self-starting, self-motivated and able to rise up to the challenges facing a brand new organization
