Job Description:
John Evans Sons, Inc. is a well established manufacturer, and has an excellent reputation producting high quality, precision engineered parts. We manufacture a wide variety of springs and mechanical assemblies for a multitude of industries. We are located in Lansdale, PA and have approximately 75 loyal employees.
We are currently accepting applications for a full time Heat Treater, to operate ovens for hardening metal parts. You will have the chance to work with our friendly team of employees in a pleasant, job shop manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements:
Requirements: Mechanical ability and manual dexterity required for using measuring scales, running stress reliever ovens, oilers and following packing instructions. Must be detail oriented and reliable, with good communication skills for following written and verbal instruction. . Applicants must have the ability to stand for extended periods, work in busy, high noise level environment, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Applicants with previous experience in a manufacturing plant working with furnaces, ovens or passivating are urged to apply for this position.
Excellent full time hours, including half day on Fridays to take your long weekends!
