Job Description:
John Evans Sons, Inc., is a manufacturer of precision springs, mechanical assemblies, and fabricated metal parts.
We have an immediate need for a maintenance mechanic to provide mechanical, electrical, and facility services. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial equipment and machinery.
Job Requirements:
High School, Trade School, or Vo-Tech diploma/degree
Three to five years of related experience.
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and production/industrial equipment
Ability to read, write and communicate with others about equipment manuals, operating instructions, and technical issues
Ability to install/program/troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and controls
Must have potential to advance to maintenance supervisory role
Physical requirements include physical agility with ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds.
