Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the supervision of production as well as serve as a member of the production team a minimum of two days per week. S/He will purchase foods to meet quality and cost objectives as well as ensuring sufficient raw ingredients are on hand for production. S/He will ensure employee practices meet HACCP and infection control standards. S/He will communicate to staff regularly, both formally and informally; hold team meetings weekly to ensure staff awareness of production activities and build a rapport with staff in other departments.
Job Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have an AAS Degree in Culinary or 5+ years progressive culinary experience in a variety of settings. The ability to organize workloads and meet timelines is required. The ability to stand for long periods of time and lift objects up to 50 pounds is also required. ServSafe certification is preferred.
