Job Description:
Our client, a major international bank located in New York City is seeking a Credit Risk Reporting Officer to join their Credit Risk Management Team.

The ideal candidate will have risk reporting experience and strong knowledge of banking products such as derivatives, loans and FX. This individual will act as point person for the risk reporting function in the group and must have a fundamental understanding of concepts such as PD (Probability of Default) and LGD (Loss Given Default).

Major Responsibilities:
• Generate and analyze periodic risk reports to ensure that the information is accurate
• Recognize data errors and any other issues that might arise and commenting on these errors and trend analyses
• Distributing reports and maintaining the report distribution list – responding to any report inquires
• Participate in department projects including new data set projects and enhancing reports and reporting function

Job Requirements:
• 2 + years of risk reporting experience in a financial institution preferably a bank
• Strong knowledge of banking products such as derivatives, loans and FX
• Knowledge of risk concepts including PD and LGD
• Superior quantitative skills including MS Excel and Access
• Strong communications skills – oral and written
• A team player
• Bachelor’s degree is required
