TITLE: Loss Mitigation Negotiator
DESCRIPTION:
• Work with homeowners, real estate agents, ect. in assisting with foreclosure alternatives
• Evaluate and determine options based on financial information provided.
• Respond to written and phone inquiries from borrowers, investors, clients, ect.
DUTIES:
• Review loss mitigation files to determine if borrower qualifies for options
• Order BPO’s for options
• Order title searches
• Evaluate short sale option
• Educate buyers and realtors about short sale process, deed in lieu of process, and other loan programs
• Request and follow up on foreclosure holds

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Min. of 3 year collection, loss mitigation or other mortgage/real estate related experience
• At least 1 year of telephone customer contact experience
• High school or GED diploma
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Protection Act required
• Strong negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently alone and in a team environment
• Ability to maintain a file caseload of at least 150 files
