Job Description:
Our client is a publicly owned food and beverage company. They have been in operation for more than 25 years and have annual sales of over $100M.

Job Responsibilities:
1) Develop and lead the facility's Management Team and handle all facets of the operations
2) Meet scheduled production and oversee materials management/warehousing
3) Manage and maintain all capital equipment and premises
4) Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through training and support
5) Oversee regulatory and audit compliance of manufacturing activities established by municipal, provincial and federal authorities as well as QA department and collective agreements
6) Ensure establishment and execution of SOP
7) Oversee promotion, implementation and support of all food safety programs such as HACCP and SQF
8) Assist in determining capital requirements and implementation of capital projects
9) Facilitate continuous improvement through effective problem solving, training and communication strategies
10) Initiate hiring, discipline, training and effective supervision of all manufacturing staff as well as professional development of Management Team members
11) Oversee all operating results including line efficiencies, labor costs and factory overheads

Job Requirements:
1) 10+ years of experience in food processing
2) Dairy experience (pasteurizing and fluid handling preferred)
3) Experience in plant management or senior leadership role
