Job Description:
National Supermarket company one of the Midwest's premier food retailers, are looking for Store Directors to be located in the state of Wisconsin and the Twin Cities. The company today is a company of 22,000 employees, exceeding $4 billion in annual sales, operating 154 retail stores and undergoing tremendous growth. The Ideal candidates will have 3 plus years experience at the store director level at a grocery/food store management store with a weekly volume of $250,000 plus, company like Safeway, Lucky’s Giant etc NO DISCOUNT. The position requires Managers to direct all phases of operations including but not limited to: maximize sales, control labor costs, utility and operation expenses, meet targeted goals, ensure customer service by prompt and courteous employees. Maintain Federal, State, Local regulations, along with company policies. The positions are in the Minneapolis and Milwaukee area outlets Responsibilities: Supervises, directs and manages all phases of store operations in a manner designed to obtain maximum sales and margins; control labor, utility and other operation expenses; and to ensure that the store meets targeted projections and goals through the effective utilization of personnel and resources available. Main focus is to drive store-wide customer service initiatives for all store associates. Duties include: Ensure a customer focused shopping environment where prompt and courteous service is provided in all areas of the store at all times. Responsible for aspects of store's operation including its financial results. Plan, organize and direct store activities and operations with the assistance of Department Managers and Co-Managers. Ensure that the store meets targeted projections and goals through the effective utilization of personnel and resources available. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and company policies and procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required as well as the ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
