Job Description: New Jersey based Privately-owned pharmaceutical services organization, with offices in California seeks Senior Clinician: Job Summary: This position will evaluate a wide range of psychiatric patients using several diagnostic and symptom rating scales. Successful incumbent is part of an expert rating team, conducting assessments as part of a study protocol and at the request of a sponsor via videoconference or telephone. Responsibilities: Evaluate a patient’s current clinical condition and symptom severity, Perform diagnostic evaluations, Submit accurate data utilizing Good Clinical Practices and identified scoring conventions, Manage subject crises with professionalism and clinical expertise, Utilize technology required to conduct remote assessments, Work with Project Associates in initiating assessments, and assist them with data query completion and data clarification, Follow Sponsor (protocol-specific) requirements and applicable internal SOPs, Participate in weekly Clinician meetings, Participate in on-going Clinician calibration and training, May assume a leadership role for portions of research or other projects and may have primary responsibility for some of them. Education / Qualifications: (SCID) Structured Clinical Interview for (MADRS) or the (PANSS) The positive and Negative Syndrome Scale. Clinicians must have a minimum of a master’s degree conferred by a clinically-focused program in a mental health discipline such as Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Psychiatric Nursing. Experience / Skills: Candidates must have 2 years of highly-relevant clinical experience with psychiatric patients, 2 or more years administering psychiatric symptom rating scales and/or structured diagnostic interviews at or 2 or more years administering psychiatric symptom rating scales and/or structured diagnostic interviews at a high level of frequency and performance at a previous position(s). The specific assessment skills required will vary according to project needs, Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Must be willing to travel as required, Knowledge of GCP guidelines, Strong communication skills, oral and written, Ability to work collaboratively within the company. Salary base: 70K to 80K+ D.O.E first year compensation. Relocation Package Excellent Benefit Package. Fully Paid.
