Job Description:
We are a leading manufacturer of optically based gas analyzers and moisture analyzers for analytical process markets. Our products and technology has attracted leading investors to finance our growth and development of new products. We are seeking an R&D Engineer to join our dynamic team!
R&D Engineer
While reporting to the R&D Manager, this role will be responsible for developing various spectroscopy techniques for trace gas analysis in petrochemical and natural gas industries. You will also execute the following key functions:
• Designing and testing prototype gas analyzers
• Setting up and maintaining test stations, data collection, data analysis and data presentation
• Supporting installation of first-time articles, supporting field service engineers for problem diagnosis, and modifying the analyzer design to accommodate customer expectations.
Job Requirements:
The highly desired candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Physics, Engineering, Chemistry or other natural science
• Fast learner who can easily adapt to fast-paced work environment
• Experimental troubleshooting skills
• Experience in spectroscopy, optics, electronics or signal processing is preferred but not required.
