MULTI UNIT RETAIL Sales Manager needed in Northern, Virginia.

MULTI UNIT District SALES MANAGER will be responsible for the overall operating performance of all stores (15) in this region. Provides leadership and direction in achieving defined store and district goals in sales, expenses and shrinkage control.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Provides clear and timely direction to store management teams to ensure operating standards regarding customer satisfaction, merchandise presentation, promotions, inventory levels and payroll are maintained.
- Visits all stores within the district on a consistent basis.
- Continually evaluates all store managements' performance.
- Complete compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Builds and maintains a well developed and motivated management team.
- Recruits, hires and trains all new store managers.
- Undertakes special projects including NEW STORE openings and store REMODELS.

- Associate's Degree (4 year degree preferred)
- 6+ years MULTI-UNIT RETAIL MANAGEMENT experience a MUST
- Skilled in Recruiting, Hiring and developing store management personnel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership characteristics.
- Able to Manage MULTIPLE PRIORITIES effectively and efficiently.
- Computer Proficient especially MS Word/Excel
- Willing to TRAVEL Weekly & Overnight a MUST.
