Financial Analyst
50-60K DOE
Sac/San Joaquin
Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst for their fast-paced, action-oriented team supporting their west coast manufacturing operations. This position will be responsible for assembling and analyzing month-end/year-end reports supporting key facility outputs, reviewing cost of goods sold variance analysis, and generating ad hoc analysis for related projects. Will prepare and update various financial planning and analysis tools, including expense forecasts, comprehensive business models, and will improve financial results by analyzing actual results and variances to budgets and forecasts. Will identify trends, recommending action plans and will serve as one of the primary liaisons within the Company's finance/accounting team, providing information to other business units and Senior Management.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have attained a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in either finance or accounting, and have 6+ years of previous financial analysis/accounting experience with the use of MS Excel and Access for advanced financial analysis, including extensive experience with pivot tables.
Must have a sharp inquiring mind possessing natural curiosity and passion for the business, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to report financial data and explain the business implications clearly and concisely to Senior Management.
