Skills: Linux, Redhat/Centos, C, BSD Kernel, TCP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP

Must be US Citizen, GC and EAD only

Ideal candidate shall possess a MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 4+ years experience or a BS degree with 6 + yrs of experience.

Responsibilities:
1. As part of this team, candidate will be responsible for developing, compiling, testing, documenting and delivering Linux OS libraries and kernel builds.
2. Expertise in development and testing of Linux kernel modules is strong requirement.
3. Candidate will also be responsible for debugging complex system issues across the stack including kernel, drivers, firmware as well as user-space modules.

Must Have Skills:
1. Excellent SW development, debugging and testing skills in C
2. Experience with test driven development and agile development practices.
3. At least 3 + years of solid Linux kernel module development experience
4. Solid experience with and in-depth understanding of Linux kernel and driver development.
5. Experience with the Redhat and/or Centos Linux distributions a definite plus.
6. Strong commitment to deliver on schedule with high quality
7. Excellent knowledge of development models in corporate teams as well as open source
8. Strong written and verbal communications skills
9. Experience interacting with the open source community
10. Experience with network protocols such as TCP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP
11. Experience with kernel level debugging
12. Experience also compiling and debugging BSD kernels is a plus.
