Job Description:
Position: Technical Sales Engineer
Salary: Based on Qualifications
Relocation: Local candidates or those willing to self relocate
Location: Cleveland, OH
Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This facility specializes in vacuum heat treating and brazing of aerospace components.
• Quality system certification includes: Nadcap, AS9100, and ISO 9001:2000.
• This challenging hands-on position requires a disciplined, self-starting individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Emphasis is placed on servicing established accounts and the development of new business.
• The successful candidate will focus on planning, developing, and implementing strategies for generating revenues and assisting with problem solving.
• This position directly impacts company's quality, service, productivity and profitability.
• Dominant duty is outside sales servicing existent customer base.
• Always interested in new business development and diversity with customers.
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent job-related experience.
• 2+ years sales skills and aptitude such as selling a service, understanding market potentials, understanding the competition, building and maintaining partnerships.
• Technical knowledge and expertise such as principles of heat treating, practical application, equipment functionality.
• Knowledge of financial understanding such as price negotiation, profit margin, budgeting and managing expenses.
• Leadership skills such as planning and project management, team development, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel required.
