Office Manager/Bookkeeper

As the Office Manager/Bookkeeper, you will assist in all phases of accounting and perform ad hoc financial analysis, both qualitative and quantitative, for use in the development of company business decisions by executing the following tasks:
• Review and analyze monthly financial data (flux analysis for balance sheet and income statement)
• Define, prepare and analyze various monthly reports used to aid management in decision making
• Work with departmental management to identify and implement strategies for process improvements resulting in quality improvement and increased cost savings
• Analyze monthly account reconciliations including timely resolution of errors and issues
• Post monthly journal entries and adequate support documentation in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Assist with the planning and budgeting of expenses
• Day to day book bookkeeping within the Quick books system
• AR/AP and collections responsibilities
• Human Resources – point person working with Administaff
• New hires and payroll processing
• Payroll processing
• Benefits enrollment
• Administrative duties to support executive team
• Answer the phone
• Order supplies for the office
• Secondary support to order equipment and licenses for operations team and process invoices


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
This detail oriented, analytical candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 2-4 years related work experience. Proficiency using Quick Books, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills required. Ability to analyze alternatives and contribute to strategic decision making and be adaptable and flexible essential.
