THIS POSITION WILL MANAGE WORK FLOW AND SPECIMEN PROCESSING OF THE BLOOD BANK. THERE IS LITTLE OR NO PEOPLE MANAGEMENT; RATHER YOU WILL OFFER TECHNICAL EXPERTISE IN A BLOOD BANK ENVIRONMENT. YOU WILL MANAGE ALL BLOOD BANK PROCESSES TO THE GUIDELINES OF CAP AND JACHCO WITH FAMILIARITY OF FDA REGULATIONS FOR BLOOD BANK PROCESSING.
YOUR EXPERTISE WILL GUIDE THIS FACILITY TO THE EXPECTATIONS AND PROVEN RESULTS THAT ARE STANDARD PROCEDURES FOR THIS HOSPITAL.
DAY SHIFT POSITION WITH ONE ROTATION WEEKEND A MONTH. ONE WINTER/ SUMMER HOLIDAY PER ANNUAL CALENDAR YEAR.
This hospital offers a full range of complex services such as Level III NICU, a strong established open-heart program, and a vast array of cancer treatment options, etc.
Laboratory leadership and team efforts are extraordinary resulting in strong patient surveys. Competitive salary. will be offered with relocation assistance available.



Job Requirements:
Four Year Degree with a Bachelor Degree in medical technology plus ASCP , NCA or equivalent certification.
Must have a certification with minimum of 3-5 yrs of experience in an accredited clinical laboratory. Recent blood bank experience with deep knowledge of CAP and JACHO regulations.
MUST BE A STRONG MANAGER OF WORK FLOW AND PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES
