What you will be doing:

- Directing and managing all aspects of the finance department as well as profit and cost management principles relating to the biotech industry and in keeping with the goals and objectives of the Company.
- Managing monthly financial statement preparation for multiple entities including general ledger analysis and various accounting reconciliation processes
- Presenting various reports and analysis to management for each entity and department
- Planning and implementing the departmental coordination of the annual budget process and analyzes the monthly comparisons of budget-to-actual information
- Developing and maintaining customer relationships regarding financial strategies and risk management
- Assisting sales team in managing customer issues
- Assisting in the integration of new products, incorporating current accounting practices in areas such as billing, collection and credit card processing management
- Enhancing and/or developing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures of the Company by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company
- Establishing credibility throughout the Company as an effective problem solver; ability to be viewed as approachable and as a mentor to people on financial and system issues
- Initiating appropriate strategies to enhance cash position; developing a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism
- Inspiring and motivating others to perform well and gives appropriate recognition to others

Job Requirements:
What you need:

- CPA Preferred, but not Required
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline required
- 7+ years of related professional experience and/or training
- High ethical standards and an appropriate
professional image
- Quickbooks or ERP experience and ADP/Paychex Payroll a plus
