Job Description: Candidate for this position will be responsible for the configuration, installation and implementation of all audio and video components for the facility. The candidate will be able to recommend enhancements to the current A/V Conference Rooms and systems, including conference room designs, maintain customer requirements documentation, maintain program version control and adhere to configuration management. Troubleshoot hardware cabling and components in addition to tough panel programming. Program and configure A/V equipment such as media control system (AMX/Crestron), matrix mixers and switchers, codecs (Tandber/Polycom). Required Skills: Candidate will have experience in the operation and maintenance of A/V systems and networks. Candidate must be able to interact with leadership in the coordination of customer requirement and resources. Must be familiar with AMX or Crestron touch panels. Strong knowledge and ability on diagnosing and correction hardware audio visual problems required. The candidate must have knowledge and ability to discuss with custom audio and visual technology. Must be capable of performing hardware installation, coordination reapers and installations with outside vendors. A strong proficiency in video codec, specifically Polycom and Tandber required. Understand A/V signal flow diagrams and nomenclature. Should be able to perform system testing, commissioning and training. Certification as Video Engineer (CVE) is desired. 4-6 years of Audio visual technology experience. AMX Programmer I & II training courses completion desired. Provides functional guidance, supervision, technical, educational support and quality assurance/quality control as necessary. Develops and upgrades TTPs on an as needed basis
Job Requirements: Specialized experience includes, but is not limited to, experience in installing, maintaining, and configuring advance communications equipment for technology enhancements (hardware and software) and connectivity options. Requires experience with electronic test equipment and diagnostic programs including programmable data scopes and protocol analyzers, demonstrated ability to interpret schematic drawings of complex electrical circuits and skill in fault isolation techniques. Requires expert knowledge of electronics theory and circuitry and data communications network operation. Excellent understanding of specified data communications protocols and standards such as SNA, Bisync, TCP/IP, X.25, ATM and Frame Relay.
