Job Description:
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) FSLC (Full Systems Life Cycle) programming of business applications; (2) FSLC (Full Systems Life Cycle) development of automation tools that are used by IT application support teams to configure, test, release, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot mission-critical applications/systems; (3) Assisting with configuration, testing, releases, implementations, monitoring, and support of mission-critical applications/systems; (4) Performing system and network troubleshooting and providing resource optimization; (5) Working closely with other Information Technology groups, all levels of the end-user community to the CEO level, third party organizations and various business partners.
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED:
MUST MUST MUST have a verifiable undergraduate degree.
MUST have EXPERT level or near EXPERT level SQL.
MUST have EXPERT level or near EXPERT level 1 and/or 2 application support experience with at least two years of STRONG/CURRENT hands on applications support in a mission-critical environment.
MUST have background doing and desire to do ˝ development and ˝ application support of exciting, mission-critical, state-of-the-art systems.
MUST MUST MUST have EXCELLENT communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on exceeding the expectations of the end-user community.
MUST have EXPERT or near EXPERT level experience with UNIX scripting languages (Perl, awk, python, unix shell).
MUST have EXPERT or near EXPERT level understanding Linux/Unix and Windows, including demonstrated ability with tools such as sed, awk and ‘regular expressions’.
MUST have STRONG experience with version and revision control practices and procedures.
MUST have 10/10 verbal and written communication skills.
