Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Review functional specifications and architecture design.
Develop and define test strategy and test plans based on product requirements and functional specifications
Knowledge of QA methodologies around defining test cases and mapping to requirements.
Design and execution of test cases
Ability to automate test cases using Selenium
Analyze and report defect / issues in a defect tracking system, ability to express the defects and provide detailed steps to reproduce them
Collect test metrics and report them in a systematic fashion
Coordinate testing activities across geographically distributed team environments (US & India )
Job Requirements:

4+ years of QA experience developing test plans, hands on test case execution, and collecting/reporting test metrics
3+ years testing large volume, high traffic, transactional, multi-tenant software as service applications
Experience with QA process and tools Quality Center , Bugzilla, WinRunner, Selenium
Experience in developing test harness and regression tests to streamline test execution cycles
Basic knowledge in any of the scripting tools such as Perl, Python, Ruby or Shell is required
Knowledge interacting with different data bases (Sybase, Oracle) is required
Experience working in Linux/Unix environment
