Job Description
Proactive company that is profitable, expanding, global, and views finance/accounting as a business partner and key resource to strategies and tactical initiatives. Report to VP Finance within multi-plant division that has operations in USA, Europe, and Far East. Take 3-4 months to learn the business model, contribute to monthly financial reporting & analysis, and participate on forecasting, product P/L reporting, and other areas before stepping into Controller role. Center stage role within vertically integrated expanding business that serves global markets. Key responsibilities include: • Monthly consolidation of worldwide results with MD&A, business metrics, variance analysis, and trends for divisional executive team and parent corporation. • Quarterly financial reports, analysis and commentary including tax, audit, SOX, insurance and other data • Prepare monthly financial forecasts that include business strategies, trends, and changes in operations • Prepare annual budget and strategic plan. • Partner on business initiatives (i.e. acquisition integration; movement of manufacturing operations) and provide business intelligence and analysis. • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and forecasting processes to streamline workload, ensure accuracy, and accountability surrounding all key performance metrics including stretch and long-term objectives. (i.e. improve working capital; expand margins; enhance RFP/RFQ preparation) • Coordinate Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing compliance program

Job Requirements:
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications
CPA a must. Seek 4+ years of business experience that includes public and manufacturing accounting.Must have experience with inter company accounting, revenue recognition, inventory, variance analysis, budgets, and tax provisions. Most important is a value-adding personality who wants to be Controller in early 2010 and VP Finance in 2012.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with international financial reporting, product P/Ls, transfer pricing, purchase accounting, and ERP systems are all positives. Most important is a Type “A” personality who wants to be Controller in early 2010 and VP Finance in 2012.
