Job Description: Class B Required Job Description: Currently seeking a strong National Sales Manager who has strategic marketing ability and understands achieving goals and objectives with integrity, strength, and vision. Position is responsible for managing sales and marketing activities in a manufacturing environment. This includes building a strong re-seller network throughout the U.S.consisting of approximately 50 reps. Responsible for managing, motivating and assisting rep organization in new business development and business retention. This individual should have proven sales ability, be aggressive, with a strong desire to succeed and generate a high income. The successful candidate will have a National/International sales/marketing mentality with the ability to identify good business and drive in sales using new sales techniques. Position is responsible for selling corporate products and services to business, industrial establishments,and government contracts directly or via sales rep network, product shows, sales literature, internet, or customer leads and inquiries. Develops and directs market research activities, and marketing plans in the metal fabrication industry. Has the ability to look at the companies visibility and identify strategic marketing ideas to strengthen that visibility. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Review market to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs. Directs development activity and coordinates sales activities by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. Represent company at trade shows/meetings. Assist sales representatives with maintaining customer relationships and closing deals. Qualifications: 8-10 years outside sales in manufacturing (metal fabrication/plastics/auto manufacturing/medical) Proven track record setting up a National Re-Seller Network Successful sales track record Mechanically inclined with understanding of the industry AA degree or equivalent or three to five years related experience and/or training. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, ad legal documents. Math skills 4-5 years experience in a management role Solid writing and presentation skills to respond to customers, agencies, and the business community. 5-10 years manufacturing sales in metal fabrication, plastics, or other industrial product line or service. Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. International and Government Contracts sales background Compensation: Base Salary with generous commission plan and full benefit package. This position is reportable and financially rewarding.
