Job Description:
S/O Responsibilities:
• Partner with functional managers and key internal stakeholders to ensure that security countermeasures are inline overall security strategy and client focused, with special emphasis in system and network design.
• Provide guidance and content expertise on industry best-practices on security strategy and information security topics.
• Manage and develop the Security Operations program, strategy, policies and processes; assist in creating and maintaining appropriate security policies and procedures governing data, networks, and application systems.
• Analyze, recommend and implement approved counter measures based on external and internal information security risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Lead the development and update of recovery and continuity plans and procedures as needed.
• Keep current with new developments in the security industry including alerts, bugs, vulnerabilities and viruses; evaluate and report on their potential business impact.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices in risk management techniques and integrate new methods and tools as appropriate.
• Provide leadership and project management expertise, as needed, to ongoing security projects.
• Assist in security architectural reviews of existing and planned infrastructure or systems and act as a resource to all departments for security related topics.
• Provide security education and awareness activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
