Job Description:
Full Time,1st Shift. State-of-the-art ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B certified CNC production machining facility whose customer base is comprised largely of Medical and Aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEM s). The company has an immediate need for a CNC Swiss Turn Programmer. We are searching for a results driven, disciplined Citizen Swiss Turn Programmer and set up person to support our growing Swiss Turn department. This position will focus on developing new processes and improving existing processes. This is a hands on position requiring a strong understanding of Swiss Lathes and requires taking a part from print to capable production. Candidates will need disciplined troubleshooting skills and the ability to select tooling, calculate cycle times, time studies, document processes and produce good parts at competitive production rates prior to turning over to production. Must possess communication ability to improve the department and company with the time management skills to complete concurrent improvement projects. Must have direct experience selecting tooling, developing processes, programming and assisting in setting up all new jobs. Candidates must have Swiss CNC lathe experience and be looking for a high pressure, high reward environment. Unqualified candidates will not be considered. Position offers $60,000 annual salary and competitive benefits. -Strong mechanical skills/abilities, -Excellent math skills -Read/Interpret blueprints, -Cutting Tool Parameters, -Tolerances, and various inspection equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, CMM, Optical Comparators, and SmartScopes. Well-Qualified Candidates will possess: -Journeyman machinist certification -Minimum of 5 yrs. programming/operating CNC Swiss Turns (Citizen L16,L20, L32) -Related work experience in the Medical, Aerospace or Automotive Industries -Functional knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO9001 and AS9100B.
